Hot-dip galvanising
Hot-dip galvanising gives carbon-steel fasteners a heavy zinc coating for outdoor, coastal and construction use. We arrange it through licensed galvanising partners and supply the coated parts, with the documents the partner issues.

What we can arrange
- Bolts, nuts, washers, studs, rods and formed parts in carbon and alloy steel
- Galvanising to the specification you give us, such as ISO 10684 or ASTM F2329
- Combined with cutting, threading or bending in one order
- Nuts supplied to suit coated threads (see Good to know)
What to send us
- Part list with sizes and quantities
- Material and strength grade
- Standard or coating thickness required
- Whether nuts are included
- Deadline
Good to know
Galvanising suits carbon and alloy steel, not stainless steel. High-strength bolts (class 10.9 and above) are reviewed before we recommend galvanising.
Questions
Will galvanised bolts still fit the nuts?
Galvanising thickens the thread. Nuts are normally tapped oversize after coating, or the bolt thread is cut to suit. We confirm this when we quote.
How long does it take?
It depends on the partner's schedule and batch size. We confirm the date when we quote, and we update you at each stage.
